Be Still and Know

Be still and know that what comes will pass.
Faith and Hope will help Love keep a smile in your heart.

Don’t fight the strong wind, let it do what it may
there’s joy in rebuilding in the quiet of the next day.

Embrace the stillness and know it’s all going fine
feel the calm and hold on through this challenging time.

Be still and know it will all be okay
and that the sun shines unseen but steady
even on dull rainy days.

All is well and all will be well.
So have faith.
Be still.
And know.

It’s been quite a month.

The words “Be still and know it will be okay” ran through my head as I sat outside the operating theatre while my husband had open heart surgery. They stayed with me through his hospitalization, very strongly during difficult and uncertain days.

All was well. And he is home over a week now, and all is going well as I write this post. And I feel grateful.

    1. Thank so much!

We seem to be finding a nice relaxed routine while he recuperates. I am back at work with online piano lessons, and both of us have been getting time with our hobbies, plus a LOT of family time which is rather nice.
